Word Of The Week – Change

This week I’m hoping that I’m starting to implement some change into my everyday life.

Change

I’m taking part in a 12 week Thinking Slimmer challenge. Every night this week, before bed, I have been listening to a slimpod. With the goal that the slimpod will retrain my thinking about food and my overall general health. I’m having to change our routine a bit to make sure I give myself the chance to listen to it each night.

I have also embraced using the Nintendo Wii again this week. This is to help me change my activity levels in the day. I play Wii Fit which is something I played after I had Ethan. I’m pleased to report that I have completed my EA Active workout every day that the game has requested me to complete so far.

My goal is to generally be fitter and more active so that I can keep up with my growing children. I don’t get out and about much in the week which results in me spending most of my time on the sofa. I’m also hoping that this new mindset will result in my dropping a dress size. Meaning that hopefully, I will get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes.

I’m also pleased to report this week that our house is still feeling relaxed and calm. Ethan’s food battles haven’t been so bad at dinner time. We think this is because we are now all able to sit around the dinner table. It is so nice not having to face a battle whilst we try to eat.

I also had a morning catch-up with the girls with is always nice. There is nothing better than a coffee and a chat to help wash away any worries. We all have children with additional needs and it gives us a chance to support each other.

I wonder what next week will bring?

What a lovely change to make and I wish you luck with it. So glad to hear that things are still relaxed at home and that Ethan’s food battles seem to be getting better!xx

Congratulations and good luck! Let us know your progress and maybe it will inspire me to lose some weight too (I’m just so lazy!) 😉 #wotw.

  3. That all sounds really positive. Good luck with keeping up the fitness drive! I’m still struggling to find the time and energy to fit much in but really hope I’ll solve that one soon… 🙂
