Project 365 2015 Week 13 Days 81-87

A photo a day, every day, for a year!

Day 81

We spent the morning visiting a soft play and catching up with friends. We discovered that Ethan still has massive anxiety about soft play, it’s a work in progress! Little E has decided to stop putting food in her mouth and my friend wondered if it is her teeth playing her up. When we got home we tried some different finger foods, she still wouldn’t eat them but her rosy cheeks suggest that perhaps teeth are the problem!

Day 82

Monday mornings mean its time for my weigh in to see how I’m progressing with my Thinking Slimmer challenge. We are on week 8 and for the past two weeks the wii has told me I’m overweight and no longer obese.

Day 83

Ethan brought his Easter Bonnet home from nursery, Little E decided she wanted to try it on!

Day 84

It was my birthday today and we had a child free treat visiting The Making Of Harry Potter.

Day 85

After our day out on Wednesday we had a family day visiting London. We took Ethan to see the dinosaurs in The Natural History Museum and then spent the rest of the day in The Science Museum.

Day 86

The only photo I took today was of the gift we were given when we ate dinner in The Disney Cafe in Harrods the day before.

Day 87

I treated Little E to some Easter Bunny ears!

Thank you, I’m making slow but steady progress. I didn’t think we would be able to visit Harry Potter for a while yet but we had the rare chance of a child free day :0)

  1. I love the science museum and really want to take my two there soon, and the rest of London too! Love the bunny ears 🙂

It was a good day and Ethan loved it which makes it even better. I couldn’t resist the bunny ears x

  2. Little E looks so cute in her hat and ears, I hope the teething eases off soon. Glad you had such a good time in the Disney cafe. We got some Mickey ears. I didn’t realise they varied the gifts. I need to go back 😉

I think because of the film they are giving out the books. I wasn’t expecting it so it was a nice surprise. The Disney Cafe is really a hidden gem, when you could be waiting for a while in other places you just walk right in. Perfect for our little guy x

Thank you, totally agree. Darren couldn’t understand why I was so happy to be told I was overweight ;0)

  3. Little E is adorable, so cute in her bunny ears and with an Easter bonnet. Teething sucks, I remember how tough it was. Did Ethan enjoy visiting the Museums? I find it with my autie that it’s hit and miss, sometimes he seems to be interested, sometimes the crowds overwhelm him and he gets upset.

He loved the buttons and things to push and pull on the displays. I think he zones out when the crowds are around, and we are there which I think helps. He did have lots of flapping and singing moments. We had a few meltdowns over food and when we were nearly home. I think he saves them up for home to be honest x

  4. Happy belated birthday, and gosh how life changes – your birthday and the kids get a day out- the joy of parenthood.
Love the bunny ears – us parents can be quite cruel.
The BMI at overweight rather than obese is good, I have a long way to go before I reach that, well done, keep it up.

  5. What a fun week – I’m very jealous of your child free day! Loving the bunny ears, Little E looks adorable!

  6. You have had a week that I am most envious of! I would LOVE to go the the Disney cafe in Harrods and take my little dude to see the dinos at The National History Museum.
I went to the HP studios for my birthday a few years ago and was in heaven. I keep trying to convince hubby that we need to go again because the Hogwarts Express is now there!
Look at Little E’s little cheeks, bless her. Hope the teething eases up for her soon. x
