It’s week 4 of my Thinking Slimmer 12 week challenge. Every night I have continued to listen to my slimpod to retrain my thinking and keep me focused on my goals.
Last week we were also sent a chillpod to listen to. Ironically it was quite a stressful week because of our boiler so the chillpod was sent just in time.
The three goals I have set for myself are
1) Feel fitter and be able to run around with my children with ease
2) Drink less tea and more water
3) Drop a dress size
This is what I have been up to over the past week
Wii Fit and EA Active
Because of our boiler disaster the Wii did not get switched on at all. Most of the week I was watching or waiting for an engineer, hopefully I will get back on track this week.
I’m still easily only drinking four cups of tea a day, quite a few days three cups without missing the fourth cup. I still need to work on my water drinking but I did used to have a cup of tea with my lunch. This has been replaced with water.
I was naughty this week and ended up eating a packet of crisps and one of Ethan’s kinder bars on Friday after the last boiler visit. I needed the boost after the terrible week! It’s really funny because you would think the snacks would taste very good after not eating them for a while, but I wasn’t that bothered by the taste.
Cereal Before Bed
I have decided Darren is a feeder! One night he didn’t ask if I wanted cereal and I didn’t miss it. I have told him not to ask me and then perhaps I will be able to break the habit.
Weight-loss vs Measurements
After a week of not going near the Wii, I was pleasantly surprised at this weeks results.
Todays BMI – 30.08
Week 4 weight-loss – 3 lb
Chest Measurement – No loss
Waist Measurement – No loss
Bicep Measurement – No loss
Hip Measurement – 1.5 cm lost
Thigh Measurement -1.5 cm lost
I’m pleased to say that at week 4 I am fitting in a smaller size pair of jeans and some of my tops feel looser. There is still a way to go to get into my pre-pregnancy clothes but we are going in the right direction.
