With our weaning journey making fresh food is very important to us and making puree’s works very well. This means an important tool on our journey is the freezer and pots to freeze portions of the food. At the moment our freezer is full to the brim with pots of different shapes and sizes so we were happy to review the OXO Tot Baby Blocks Freezer Storage Containers to see if they would be a positive purchase in a weaning journey.

All of the freezer containers we have used so far on our weaning journey have been round, so it was a nice change to have square containers that come with a storage try. This means that when the containers are placed in the freezer they are easier to store and do not take up so much room. Considering our freezer is full of Little E’s food containers at the moment this was a nice change.
The lids on these containers are also better than any of the others we have at the moment. They lock on all sides and make the contents very secure. We have used these containers whilst out and about and we have had no accidents. It’s locking system also make the lids easy to remove when the food is needed.
Price wise they are at the more expensive end of the weaning container range on the market but we would recommend at least owning one set of these if you are out and about quite a lot during your weaning journey. We have often opted for buying Little E a pre-made meal when out because of spillage fears, which resulted in her not eating the food purchased.
