Word Of The Week – Festive

This week our word of the week is

Festive

as Christmas is just around the corner.

We have done lots of things in perpetration for Christmas this week. We had Ethan’s nativity to watch which we even took Little E to. Ethan was a Shepherd and although he needed support to be on stage he did very well.

We sent out our Christmas cards and I wrapped more presents than I care to count. We ventured into town to finish the last of our Christmas shopping. We have even put together any toys that needed to be assembled. Apart from a few more bits to wrap we are more or less ready.

I’m really looking forward to this year. I think Ethan is finally getting an understanding on what goes on at Christmas time. The advent calendars have been a hit with both children and they both get very excited about opening the doors. I know it’s all about the chocolate but I’m loving doing this with them everyday after our dinner.

This is the last Christmas day until 2018 that Darren will have off from work so we are really hoping to make the most of it. Bring on the madness!
