Transitioning From A Summer To An Autumn Wardrobe With JD Williams

With the mornings getting darker and the nights drawing in it can only mean one thing. Autumn is on the way. This means we have to start transitioning from a summer wardrobe to an autumn one. Having seen adverts advertising JD Williams I had never actually visited their website to see what they had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount and variety of items they have on offer. Being that autumn really needs a closed in shoe I thought I would give their Womens Boots a try.

Since having children my feet have actually become wider so finding a shoe that feels comfortable to me can prove to be a problem. My go to shoes end up being trainers most of the time. JD Williams actually offer different width’s in their ranges. Not only do they offer the widths for your feet but they also have different widths for your calf muscles if you are wanting mid length or knee-high boots.

With an easy online guide to follow to work out your required size I decided to pick a grey pair of ankle boots from the Sole Diva range.

I was pleasantly surprised how well the ankle boots fit me, it’s always a concern when ordering shoes online. The width was perfect and they are so comfortable to wear. The shoes were even supplied with the measuring guide which is perfect if you want to buy any shoes from them in the future.

When thinking about what type of items I want in my autumn wardrobe I thought it would be a good idea to have a dress that you can easily dress up for those festive parties but would also keep you warm on those chilly nights. I found a dress in the Anthology range and I thought the colour would go perfectly with my new boots.

So I now have two new key pieces in my autumn wardrobe, it makes a nice change from the normal jeans and jumpers.

DISCLOSURE – I was gifted these items from JD Williams in return for writing this review. I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs and experiences.
