1. Location, Location, Location

The Lion King Rhythms of the Pride Lands show* takes place in the Frontierland Theater located in Disneyland Park. You will need a valid park ticket to enter the park. The Frontierland Theater can be found in Frontierland but make sure you familiarise yourself with the theatre location*. The theatre sits at the very edge of Frontierland and if it’s your first time visiting the park you might struggle to find it. It would be a shame to miss the show just because of its location. You will find the theatre behind the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue restaurant, next to the Frontierland railroad depot.

2. Consider Your Chosen Showtime

The Lion King Rhythms of the Pride Lands show is scheduled to take place every day at 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:50 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. Of course, shows can get cancelled for various reasons. Consider the show time you want to watch. As this show is so popular they can all be busy but we chose to attend the 1.15 show, hoping it wouldn’t be as busy being close to lunchtime. You might also want to consider the last show, depending on when the Disney Stars on Parade takes place. If they take place at similar times it might make the last show that little bit quieter.

3. Be Prepared To Queue

This Lion King show is very popular so you must be prepared to queue to watch it. Depending on how busy the park is, will be a factor on when you should start to queue. Some people suggest to start queuing an hour before the show starts. We normally find ourselves joining the queue 30 minutes before a show time. Our son’s autism gives him access to a priority pass*. Having one of these means that you join a disability queue. In theory, it means that you shouldn’t need to queue for 60 minutes. We saw people arriving fifteen minutes before the show starting to join the disability queue. This queue is let into the show seating area first but it still has a capacity limit.

4. You Don’t Need to Book Guaranteed Access Tickets

When you look at the Disneyland Paris App it gives the impression that you need to pay extra to see this show. You don’t, all you need is your park ticket* to enter Disneyland Park. Guaranteed access tickets are optional and a paid extra to guarantee you a seat in one of the shows. You can pick the show you want to attend and arrive 30 minutes before showtime having a guaranteed seat. I haven’t known anyone who hasn’t been able to watch this show during their Disneyland Paris break. I would only suggest paying extra for this show if you are in Disneyland Park for a day*. If it is on your list of must-dos and your visiting time is limited.
