This week Nanny offered to look after Little E so I could have some time with Ethan.
Little E is very demanding with her feeding and some days it feels as if she is never put down. Ethan is noticing this and starting to do things to gain my attention, so it was time for him to have some Mummy time.
I’m still not 100% ready to be able to chase Ethan around the play park so I decided we would go to feed the ducks. This also involves a walk to the perfect duck feeding spot so we would be out for a while.
Ethan loved feeding the ducks, there was lots of shouting out to them and jumping and flapping involved. I was able to take some pictures but they aren’t great as the camera was being held by the strap whilst I held onto Ethan’s backpack to stop him jumping in the river.
Mummy Time – Feeding The Ducks
It was lovely to get out with Ethan and I think he really enjoyed it. It was also nice for me to get out and about for a bit as I still haven’t been able to get out of the house with just the children and me.
How lovely, looks like Ethan really enjoyed it. Those bags are such a great invention aren’t they.
Aww the fresh air must have done the world of good…. we love feeding ducks here! Great choice on your few hours out with E. #countrykids
Aww! How lovely to have some one on one time with Ethan….Feeding ducks is always a lot of fun x
How lovely to have some quality time with Ethan, I’m sure there’s a lot for him to get adjusted to, although it sounds like he adores his little sister. The never ending feeding – I remember it well, it’s nice to have family near that can help and give you a break now and then. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
We kinds sorta feed the ducks too (we dont have lots of bread) this week! Its so much fun! #countrykids
