A photo a day, every day, for a year! This is my post for the year 2021 Week 18. Being a four-day working week this week flew by. Darren only had to work three days out of his normal four. He took a day off as a holiday so we could celebrate Ethan’s birthday. This also made our week feel shorter.
Project 365 – 2021 Week 18
A Saturday of ironing for me and Darren taking Ethan to his swimming club. Saturdays are really turning into our home days. I’m hoping as time goes on Sundays will be our day for going out.
Little E has grown so much over the past year I took her into town to get some new summer bits. She likes to pick her own items and this is the best way to shop for her. I have never been a big shopper and always embraced online shopping. We visited three shops before I found it overwhelming. Little E was happy with her new shorts and t-shirts.
All caterpillars have turned into chrysalis. It was time to move them into their butterfly garden.
For some reason, I didn’t take a photo today. Perhaps the bank holiday threw me out? It was however Star Wars day. I ordered Little E a new Raya and the Last Dragon Sisu dress from Shop Disney. This meant I qualified for the free Disney Celebration Key. I have a few of these keys now, I think I might now be classed as a Disney key collector!
Little E’s broad bean plant is nearly as tall as her. It now also has flowers. I wonder if we will actually get some beans.
I promised Little E she could pick Ethan’s birthday cake. So we took the bus into town again so she could pick one from Marks and Spencer’s. She went for the same chocolate cake that I got for myself. We also got a try cake for Ethan to take to school. I couldn’t resist getting some Colin the Caterpillar cupcakes too.
Darren had a delivery in Dover today. He has been there a few times and I always tell him to look out for the Disney Magic. It’s not the best photo but he spotter her today. She has been at Dover for most of the past year just waiting for guests. Hopefully, people will be able to return to cursing soon.
That was our 2021 Week 18 adventure. You can read about our week 17 here.
