Visiting Santa's Woodland Workshop At Center Parcs

Visiting Santa’s Woodland Workshop At Center Parcs

Last November we visited Center Parcs Winter Wonderland. It would be our second visit for the Christmas festivities, our first was in December 2016. During our first visit, we made sure we visited Santa. It was quite an experience for many different reasons but that didn’t put us off making sure we saw Santa again. Our second experience of visiting Santa’s Woodland Workshop was much better. I think it was positivity helped by the fact that it wasn’t raining!

Visiting Santa’s Woodland Workshop At Elveden Forest

As with our first visit I made sure that we would be visiting Santa’s Woodland Workshop at dusk.

I think it’s the perfect time to see all the Christmas lights. For Ethan Christmas is all about the Christmas lights and a real visual that Christmas is coming.

As it wasn’t raining during our visit we were able to have a good look around the Elfeden Forest.

Little E loved looking inside the Elf houses. In each one, the elves were doing something different to prepare for Christmas.

We spotted a Winter Wonderland photo opportunity outside Santa’s workshop. I’m not sure if we missed it on our last visit due to the rain or if it is a new installation.

Waiting To Meet Santa

On this visit, there was an elf waiting to check us in before we entered Santa’s workshop. This meant some of the queue was waiting outside in the Elfeden Forest section. Ethan found this easier. I also think he knew what to expect because of our previous visit.

When the elf checked us in she confirmed the children’s ages. We also talked about the reindeer toy that Little E had her eye on. The elf said she would see what she could do as Little E’s gift was going to be a soft toy.

Santa’s Woodland Workshop

It wasn’t long before we were making our way into Santa’s Woodland Workshop. I remembered to prepare the elves about Ethan’s autism and Santa took Ethan’s buisyness all in his stride.

This visit with Santa was very good. We were more prepared, we weren’t soaked through and we even remembered to have a family photo taken. This is because you are given a professional photo for each child ticket purchased and from our last visit we have two photos exactly the same. This time we went away with two different professional photos.

You can watch the video of our visit below…

Santa even granted Little E’s wish and gave her a soft toy reindeer as her Christmas gift.

We love visiting Center Parcs Winter Wonderland. I hope we get the chance to visit again in the future.
