Word Of The Week – Juggling

This week our word of the week is

Juggling

as that is what we have been doing.

During the middle of last week I was sent a big project to work on that needs a lot of my attention. So between my parents, Darren and myself we have been juggling entertaining the children.

I have been getting up early with Ethan which means I have been able to work for a few hours before its time for Little E to get up for the day. Thankfully Ethan had two full respite days to keep him busy and the traffic was kind to Darren this week. Meaning he was able to return home in the early afternoon to entertain our little lady.

In the midst of all this we also decided that our linky Small Steps Amazing Achievements could have a bit of a summer holiday. So I’m sorry for anyone that popped over on Wednesday looking for it.

We did actually have a nice weekend and Ethan finally got his cinema trip. He did very well sitting through Finding Dory but it didn’t hold his attention all of the time. But to be honest Ethan isn’t really a film watcher. We have seen a film called Troll’s that we think he might like so perhaps we will try that one too.

We also spent a lovely few hours at the beach on Sunday that wasn’t expected. Both Ethan and Little E love visiting the sea and they are both finding their own ways to entertain themselves whilst there. Ethan loves throwing stones into the sea and Little E likes to collect them. It’s so nice to see them both happy and content.

So with my ongoing work project and some visits to family planned for the last few weeks of the summer holidays its going to be very busy. Well for me anyway.

  1. I don’t blame you for putting the linky on hold, sounds like you have enough to contend with! Congrats on the big project though 🙂 Enjoy the rest of the holiday x

Awww looks like its been a nice week! Its nice that you can squeeze work in between so many other things. I have been out of it with blogging lately as I am trying to concentrate on summer holidays with my son. #wotw

  3. Ah glad you got a little time at the beach and you all felt chilled, I bet you have felt the pressure with work this week. Its not easy working form home in the hols is it? This is my first year of doing it properly and I have done less rather than try to keep up. Enjoy your last few weeks, I feel like its gone so quickly x

  4. Oh I hear all those balls in the air still being juggled! Summer holidays can be hard but it sounds like you have a great support network around you too, with Darren and his parents, which helps so much. I hope the big work project is going well and the next few weeks you continue to juggle but still enjoy time with the children
