Baby Born Surprise Series 1 Review

Little E loves opening surprise toys and Baby Born has just ventured into the surprise toy market. Having loved reviewing the Baby Born Wash Basin & Soft Touch Doll I knew that Little E would love to discover what she would find in the Baby Born Surprise Series 1 range.

These little baby born dolls are full of surprises. The first surprise you have upon opening is which swaddle will your baby come wrapped in. In series 1 there are twelve swaddles available, these are

• Unicorn
• Buzzy Bee
• Yellow Ducky
• Mermaid Magic
• Berry Ice Cream Cone
• Pink Butterfly
• White Bunny
• Baby Blue Bear
• Spring Flower
• Green Pea
• Blue Butterfly
• Pink Poodle

Little E found the Mermaid Magic and the Yellow Ducky in her Baby Born Surprise.

The second surprise is the baby’s hairstyle and eye colour. When you open your Baby Born Surprise you will see that the baby’s eyes are closed. To discover the colour of the baby’s eyes water is needed. This water will open your babies eyes. When you remove the baby’s swaddle you will discover the hair color and style of your baby’s hair.

Little E’s babies had blonde hair and golden eyes and brown hair and blue eyes.

The next surprise is the baby’s gender. Is your baby a boy or a girl? This is revealed by the colour of the baby bottle. Both of Little E’s babies came with pink baby bottles. You can use these bottles to feed your baby water.

The final surprise is the color changing diapers. When your baby wets the diaper which pattern will be revealed? In series 1 there are seven patterns available, these are

• Hearts
• Carrorts
• Smiley Faces
• Bananas
• Bumble Bees
• Flowers
• Seashells

Little E’s diapers contained the seashell and banana pattern.

The babies are fully poseable. Their arms and legs are able to move. This also means they can sit up and lay down.

Included with every Baby Born Surprise is a collectors guide. This guide has surprise games that help you name your baby, work out their birthday, star sign and their favourite food. It also includes a birth certificate for you to fill out.

What Did Little E Love About Baby Born Surprise?

Little E loved these mini baby dolls. She loved being able to wake them up and discovering the colour of their eyes. The swaddles amazed her and she loves wrapping and unwrapping her babies. She loves that she can move the babies arms and legs. She has played with them for ages.

What Did I Love About Baby Born Surprise?

I have loved how these dolls have kept Little E’s attention. The fact that they are a surprise toy that doesn’t come with hundreds of tiny accessories is great too. I really feel that you should be able to get play-sets for these little dolls too. You could easily have mini high chars, prams, and cots for them. I know Little E would love that!
