Little E joined our family in July 2014. Like her brother before her she wanted to make an early entrance into the world.
I was diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis at 35 weeks into my pregnancy. After being closely monitored for a week and giving me steroid injections I was prepared for a c-section.
Unfortunately Little E’s birth turned into a comedy of errors. Everyone was struck with a sickness bug and Darren had to miss her delivery. Thankfully my mum was able to step in for a short while so I wasn’t alone in theatre. We spent our first 24 hours alone in the hospital before Darren could join us.
Little E has completed our family and we love being a family of four.
