Her turquoise and pink tail moves in water just like a real mermaid. Her tail also changes colour in warm water along with her top.

What Does Little E Love About The BABY born Little Sister Mermaid?
Little E has always had a love of water toys. She also has a newfound love of mermaids thanks to Disney +. She had her eye on this BABY born doll for quite some time and couldn’t wait to play with her in the bath.
Little E loves the colour change feature which happens in warm water. She also loves brushing the doll’s long blond hair with the supplied comb. This new doll is a firm favourite at bath time and has also had a swim in our paddling pool.

What Do I Love About The BABY born Little Sister Mermaid?
This mermaid doll does exactly what it says on the box. It swims and colour changes. Little E did comment on the noise the swimming made but I told her she has to make a noise to be able to move.
With all bath toys, the worry is will they be clean enough. The mermaids tail has holes at the base that help the water drain away after she has been for her swim.
As the dolls swimming sensors are on her front I did wonder if she would be able to swim on her front and back. We did put this to test in our video. Depending on her position and water covering the sensors this mermaid can swim on both her front and back. This doll is easily in the favourite top ten for all the BABY born products that Little E has tested.
