Little E was asked if she would like to review the CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator set. Knowing that this would help with her motor skills I wanted to know how she would get on with building it. Little E was sent the bulldozer set to build.
They say never work with children or animals well Little E really made that point when we filmed the unboxing video. I don’t think she was 100% the day we decided to open the toy with her. She definitely made building the CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator Bulldozer interesting.
Little E was very excited to open her new toy. So excited that she kept telling me it was hers! When it was time to build her bulldozer Little E wouldn’t let me help her. She wants to be so independent but she still has to be shown the correct way to do things. This did mean building the bulldozer was a little bit of a battle. We did complete the bulldozer together in the end.
After the bulldozer was built Little E really enjoyed playing with it. Her CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator set came with a little man to operate the bulldozer. He fitted easily into the bulldozer cab and it was lovely to see the stories Little E was creating with this toy.
The CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator has a recommended retail price of £11.99. I think that is great value for money as you can rebuild this toy over and over again. It is from ages three and up and really is a perfect toy to work on motor skills. I was really impressed with how Little E was able to use the supplied screwdriver to put her bulldozer together.
There are five models to collect in this range an Excavator, Dump Truck, Bulldozer, Service Truck and Wheel Loader. You can also mix and match pieces from the different sets to create your very own machine. The packaging supplied with this toy is reusable and is a carry case perfect for storage.
The CAT Machine Maker Junior Operator Bulldozer is created by Toy State. They are available from Hamley’s, Morrisons, The Range, Toymaster and SMYTHS.
