As I child I remember collecting stickers in sticker books. I would love my mum buying me a new pack of stickers and eagerly opening them to discover what I had inside. AR Discs use augmented reality that is able to spring characters to life. Use the free downloadable app on your smart device to hover over your chosen AR Disc. The screen will then display high definition content of the chosen character.

The first AR Discs collection celebrates 25 years of DreamWorks. You will be able to collect and trade characters from your favourite animated feature films. Including Shrek, Trolls, How To Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Boss Baby, Madagascar, Home, The Croods, and Abominable. There are 80 DreamWorks characters AR Discs to collect. You will find the AR Discs for sale in single packs with an RRP of £1.99.
Starting your DreamWorks collection is easy. The Starter Pack comes complete with a colourful Collector Folder and two AR Disc packs. This Starter Pack has an RRP of £8.99.
What Do The Children Love About The DreamWorks AR Discs?
There was lots of excitement when this delivery arrived. The children had a pile of single packs to open and they couldn’t wait to discover who they would find inside!
Eagerly opening each packet to discover which character they would find. They then used the app to reveal the animation linked to that disc. They loved this process and found the character clips very amusing. The children placed each disc carefully into their collector folder. Out of all the single packs they opened they only had four doubles.
Little E was quick to discover that pressing the ‘i’ button on the screen will bring up character information. We then had lots of fun reading about their favourite characters.
What Do I Love About The DreamWorks AR Discs?
I really love this collectible idea. Being able to incorporate smart devices helps to make them very appealing. It was lovely watching the children get excited about who they would discover inside each packet. The DreamWorks characters have been a big part of our children’s lives.
