Over the past few months we have been treating Ethan to children’s magazines as we have discovered he loves the stickers in them. So I was very interested to review the First Friends Magazine which is aimed specifically at toddlers.
First Friends Magazine is designed to inspire and entertain 2 – 4 year olds. It features well-loved characters from the world of children’s books and entertainment and is published by award-winning pre-school publisher, Redan Publishing Ltd.
This first edition of First Friends Magazine is all about parties and comes with a Very Hungry Caterpillar tea set and also includes the first part of a collectable Elmer height chart and a Spot first words poster.
There are a whole host of characters included in this issue of First Friends Magazine including
Spot The Dog
ELMER
Woolly and Tig
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Abney and Teal and
The Gruffalo.
This gives the First Friends Magazine a lovely mix of children’s favorites.
The First Friends Magazine is full of activities that can be completed with your toddler. Including stores, colouring, drawing, spot the difference and lots of sticker placements.
Ethan loved the stickers and they were the perfect size for him to handle and place in the correct position.
Ethan also loved the colouring pages.
My Verdict
I loved that every page had and activity, perfect for its toddler audience. There are also tips for adults giving you ideas for extra activities around your home.
All of the pages are nice and bright and the text is the perfect size if your little one is also exploring the world of reading.
This magazine is 24 pages which is perfect for little minds with a shorter attention span. I would treat Ethan to this magazine each month.
The first edition of First Friends Magazine will be available from all major and independent newsagents and supermarkets from 8th July, 2015. It retails at £2.99 and is aimed at boys and girls aged 2-4 years. The first issue also includes the chance to win Gruffalo Trunkis and In the Night Garden toys make sure you enter the competitions.
