Taking My Little Princess to the Disney Cruise Royal Court Royal Tea

When I knew that we would be taking our little lady on a Disney holiday I started to look into things that I could do with her. I wanted to share a mother and daughter moment with her as we rarely get to do things on our own. I discovered that a Princess Tea is hosted at the Grand Floridian but I wasn’t sure I could work it into our plans. When a Disney Cruise was added into our plans I found out that you can attend a Royal Court Royal Tea but it was only on the seven night cruises. I was delighted to discover that this changed at…

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the Disney Dream – A Princess Makeover

Something that has been on my Disney bucket list for many years is a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique you can be magically transformed into a princess. Well you have a princess makeover! When we got married there wasn’t an age limit for the experience but we never fitted a visit in. I would have loved to have visited with my nieces. In the years after they introduced an age limit. To have a princess makeover you have to be between the ages of 3 and 12. Knowing this we knew that we wouldn’t want to return to Walt Disney World until Little E…

Nemo’s Reef on the Disney Dream

Both Ethan and Little E love water. When we looked at booking a Disney Cruise the pool areas were important to us. We wanted to know our that children would be able to enjoy them. Ironically we didn’t get to use them as much as we wanted to due to Ethan getting tonsillitis on board. At the time of booking we weren’t sure if either of our children would be toilet trained. The United States Public Health Service requires that only children who are toilet trained are permitted to enter swimming pools and spas on board cruise ships. Thankfully the Disney Dream has Nemo’s Reef which is a wet play area/splash…

The AquaDuck Disney Cruise Ship Water Slide

Did you know that there is a Disney Cruise Ship Water Slide? It’s called the AquaDuck. It was one of the many things we wanted to experience on our Disney Cruise. Knowing that Ethan has an issue with queuing and that the AquaDuck is very popular we had a plan of action to beat the queues. The AquaDuck is a Disney Cruise Ship Water Slide. It is a water tube that winds around the top deck of the ship. You ride the AquaDuck on a two person raft and it apparently falls four decks during the ride. We decided that we would try to take Ethan on the AquaDuck for the…

Disney Cruise Line Frozen Meet and Greet

When you book a Disney Cruise you know that you will be able to see Disney Characters. There are scheduled meet and greets around the ships and if you are lucky you might find some characters walking around. There are some meet and greats that require a ticket to attend as they are so popular. For us this was the Disney Cruise Line Frozen Meet and Greet and the Princess Gathering. With all Disney Holidays it is all about the planning. As this was our first time on a Disney Cruise we couldn’t book our Port Adventures until 75 days before our sail date. The booking window also opens up…
