Untamed Mad Lab Minis Review

We have been lucky and have reviewed a few items from the Fingerlings range. The Untamed range now have surprise toys available to purchase. They are Untamed Mad Lab Minis. Little E was sent two to review we found something very interesting inside.

Untamed Mad Lab Minis

Untamed Mad Lab Minis contain miniature hybrid creatures created from Untamed DNA. When you open your Mad Lab Mini vile you will discover a DNA sample.

Your DNA sample will either be GeoSlime, BioSand, or TerraClay. The colour of the DNA sample donates the rarity of your hybrid creature.

The below video shows us opening two of the viles.

When you have a collection of hybrid creatures you can Hybridize your creatures. This is done by removing and swapping their heads. Combining the different heads and bodies can create over 1000 possible mutation combinations.

What Did Little E Love About The Untamed Mad Lab Minis?

Little E has a love for surprise toys. She likes to discover if they will contain cats for her to play with. She liked that you only have to open the vile to discover the surprise inside. The DNA sample also hints to which hybrid creature you might find inside.

Little E was lucky this time as one of her vile’s contained a ‘cat’, Mayhem. He was hidden in BioSand.

There was GeoSlime in her second vile, this one contained Havoc.

Out of the GeoSlime and BioSand Little E discovered in her viles she had more fun playing with the BioSand. She isn’t keen on having too much slime on her hands.

What Did I Love About The Untamed Mad Lab Minis?

It took us a little while to work out the DNA aspect of these collectible toys. The first one we opened contained BioSand and I had it in my head that it would be slime. This made me think that we had to create the slime from the sand. Thankfully we quickly worked it out and Little E could enjoy playing with the BioSand.

I really like the hybrid creatures. Its great that you can switch their heads to create new creatures. I actually liked switching their heads around more than Little E!
