The Vtech Toot-Toot Friends Advent Calendar
Last year I reviewed the Vtech Toot-Toot Friends Advent Calendar. It is still available to purchase this year and is for children aged from one year old. There are 24 doors to open and the items inside build a winter wonderland scene. The Vtech calendar also includes a singing Father Christmas. He uses the MagicPoint technology and interacts with his sleigh.
Harry Potter Advent Calendars
The Harry Potter Magical Infinity Advent Calendar
You can celebrate the magic of Harry Potter with this Magical Infinity Advent Calendar. The towers of the advent calendar fully rotate, by 360 degrees. The LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar
This year LEGO has released a Harry Potter advent calendar. The 24 doors contain LEGO-themed Harry Potter items to build. The advent calendar contains 7 Harry Potter Minifigures and the items collected throughout December recreate festive scenes from the Harry Potter films.
The Frozen 2 Advent Calendar
Last year I reviewed the Disney Animators Collection advent calendar from the Disney Store. I kept my eyes on what they would do this year and wasn’t surprised when they released a Frozen 2 advent calendar. This advent calendar comes with an Anna and Elsa doll. Behind each door, you will find clothes and accessories for them both. By Christmas Eve both dolls will have two outfits that you can swap and change.
The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar
After reviewing the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar in 2018 it was only right to include this years version. This year’s calendar has themed items from Ahch-To Island including a limited edition Luke Skywalker. With 24 doors to open, you will find either a Star Wars mini collectible to build or a LEGO Star Wars mini-figure.

Santa’s Workshop
I fell in love with Playmobil advent calendars last year when I opened the Playmobil Santa’s Workshop advent calendar. This advent calendar is still available to buy this year and contains 24 doors for you to open. Every day you will find a part that creates Santa’s Workshop in time for Christmas Eve.
Christmas Ball
This year the 2019 Playmobil advent calendar creates a Christmas Ball scene. Behind the 24 doors, you will reveal a part to create the full Christmas Ball in time for Christmas Eve. This advent calendar includes a family that shares a Christmas dinner together before playing music and dancing. It also includes Christmas gifts for them underneath the Christmas tree.
The Jumbo Advent Calendar – Family Christmas
This year Playmobil has also released a Jumbo advent calendar. This advent calendar can only be purchased from Playmobil directly. Not only do you get an advent calendar with 24 doors to open you also get a Playmobil house to keep all of the items in. Although more expensive than a normal Playmobil advent calendar I loved this version and have listed all the contents in our review post.
The Aquabeads Advent Calendar
We have never had Aquabeads before but I was very intrigued about their advent calendar. Containing everything you need to make Aquabead creations you can create 15 festive Aquabead designs from the contents of this advent calendar. Seven of the designs you can turn into decorations for your Christmas tree.
Please Note: Aquabeads are not suitable for children under 4 years. They must also be created under adult supervision.
Melissa & Doug Wooden Advent Calendar
This lovely Melissa & Doug Wooden Advent Calendar is a Countdown to Christmas that you can use every year. This advent calendar is Christmas tree-shaped. It is magnetic and comes with 24 magnetic Christmas baubles and a star. Place these on the tree every day completing the decorating on Christmas eve. The baubles are beautifully decorated and you can see them all in our review.
The Smiggle Advent Calendar
Last year the first advent calendar I opened was the Smiggle advent calendar. This year I did the same thing and opened the 2019 Smiggle advent calendar first. This advent calendar is filled with stationery items from the famous Smiggle store. I really liked the contents of this year’s advent calendar. There is even a pencil case to keep all of your items in. I also love the colour theme this year.

The HARIBO Advent Calendar
The HARIBO Advent Calendar has 24 doors filled with HARIBO sweets. You will find seasonal mini bags and themed Christmas jellies. These include HARIBO favourites from around the world. The Retro Sweet Advent Calendar
The retro sweet advent calendar is full of nostalgic old fashioned sweets.
