I didn’t think I would be writing a blog post that included the words Disney and Trip in the title for many, many years to come, and that’s only if we are very lucky. Especially since I haven’t even finished our Walt Disney World trip report from last year, which in a few days would have been a year ago. Where has that time gone!
Keeping everything crossed that the predicted snow stays away, we will be visiting Disneyland Paris for a few days in November.
Disneyland Paris is a place I never thought we would visit again. This is for two reasons, the first being that we enjoy Walt Disney World so much Disneyland Paris just can’t compare. Secondly the last time we went to Disneyland Paris was for my 30th birthday and I looked like this…
…I was 33 weeks pregnant and I ended up coming park very ill because of the lovely winter sickness bug. Which meant I had to be hospitalised, as you can imagine it tarnished the trip a little.
Why are we going back? Darren’s sister and her family are visiting from Australia, we haven’t seen her for over five years, and we will also see our niece and nephew for the very first time. Ethan will get to see his cousins and be able to spend some time with them.
During their visit to the other side of the world they want to say hello to Mickey Mouse, and asked us if we would like to join them.
What a fantastic opportunity for our children to make some memories together, something that may never happen again for many, many years. An added bonus is that Disneyland Paris will also be dressed for Christmas, one of the things on the top of my wish list is to see Disney dressed for Christmas.
Thankfully with some help from our Virgin Air Miles and the Family Fund we have been able to book to join them. We are so thankful and excited that this quality time can happen.
Watch out Mickey we are coming to see you and this time we have friends!
Oh wow you are going to have the best time ever!!!! Such great news, bet you’re super excited. Love these photos of Ethan from your last visit, just adorable!
Oh great to hear the plans are going through! x
