Containing enchanting detail within the illustrations. Its aim is to encourage hide-and-seek exploration through the story. The authors hope to inspire a love of the natural world through the charming narrative tale and gentle emphasis on leaf, seed and insect identification.
Written with input from the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. Hedgehogs Don’t Live in the City! is also supported by their Patron Ben Fogle. This book comes at a time when the hedgehog is rapidly disappearing. Campaigners are working hard to make the incorporation of hedgehog highways compulsory in all new building developments.

At the end of the book there are some great informative hedgehog facts. There is also two pages of advice on how we can help hedgehogs. Working together we can hopefully stop their numbers declining.
