Ethan is non-verbal (hopefully pre-verbal) but we accidentally discovered his love of letters with a magnetic letter set. He is also a little water baby and loves anything water related. So putting the H&A Bathtime Buddies Alphabet Set to the test is the perfect task for Ethan.
Ethan couldn’t wait for the letters to join him in the bath.
I was amazed how Ethan reacted to having the alphabet set added to his bath. He immediately started singing the alphabet song over and over again. This is a fantastic sound to hear as I can only assume that Ethan has taught himself this from his use of the iPad. The fact that a bathtime toy can bring this information out of him is amazing.
I showed Ethan how the letters can stick to the side of the bath and he had great fun doing this. He even said what some of the letters were, or what sounds they make as he placed them on the bath.
Bathtime was so much fun with the H&A Bathtime Buddies Alphabet Set it turned our very quiet boy into a very loud, singing letter expert. Bathtime lasted for ages with the help of the letters, and the great thing about this set is that it can grow with Ethan’s learning. Hopefully one day we will be able to use them to help aid reading and spelling skills. Very simple bathtime fun that will last for ages!
Oh these letter look fantastic, what a lovely idea for bathtime and so much play value x
Ethan loves them, a firm favorite x
Aww, he had so much fun with those and how fantastic that he was vocalising too.
Lots of fun to come with those, especially when he’ll start to want to form words with them.
Thanks for linking up with #SSAmazingAchievements
I really hope he does want to form words, I have no idea how we move on to that?! x
