We recently experienced our first cinema visit as a family of four to watch Mickey and the Roadster Races. These episodes also include The Handy Helpers. Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck help others with different jobs they need completing. In true Minnie Mouse style she must make the correct outfit selection for the job. They turn to the Magic Turnstyler to give them the required outfit. Minnie Mouse fans can now enjoy the magic of the turnstyler themselves with their very own Minnie Mouse Magic Turnstyler. Little E has been testing the Minnie Mouse Magic Turnstyler, this is how she got on.
When the Minnie Mouse Magic Turnstyler arrived I was surprised at how big the box was. I wasn’t expecting Minnie Mouse to be so big. This toy is designed for ages 3+ and Minnie Mouse is the perfect size for little hands.
What’s In The Box
The box contains one Magic Turnstyler with catwalk which you have to assemble. It also requires 2 x AAA batteries. A Minnie Mouse fashion fun doll plus lots of dressing up accessories.
Minnie Mouse has three outfits that she can change into a blue, purple and pink set. Each set comes with a dress, shoes and a bow.
The Minnie Mouse Magic Turnstyler
Pressing the Minnie Mouse bow on the top of the turnstyler spins the shelves inside. Pressing the bow also activates a magical musical tune. This is also the sound that is in the Handy Helpers show.
The shelves hold Minnie’s fashion accessories, divided into three sections. Opening and closing the door to the turnstyler also activates the music.
Under the rim of the turnstyler there are three lights above the opening door. Pressing the Minnie Mouse bow will also activate them.
The Catwalk
The catwalk is attached to the turnstyler which contains a stand for Minnie Mouse to be placed in. Minnie Mouse is easily clipped into position and is easily moved up and down the catwalk.
Dressing Minnie Mouse
I had to show Little E how to put Minnie’s dresses on. You have to make sure that her arms are in the correct position to place her dresses over her shoulders. She quickly mastered this and happily changed her outfits. The shoes can be tricky. I found the blue pair needed a little bit maneuvering to get the on. Little E can happily change Minnie into her pink and purple shoes without any help. She had no issues changing Minnie’s bows either.
Little E’s Verdict
Little E loves the Minnie Mouse Magic Turnstyler. She will happily change Minnie’s outfits over and over again. Little E doesn’t really place the accessories into the turnstyler but I think an older child would use that more. She likes to walk Minnie Mouse up and down the catwalk. The turnstyler also doubles as perfect storage for all of Minnie’s accessories.
Little E has been asking about Daisy Duck so I will be looking into this range for her. Perhaps Santa can bring the Happy Helpers back together.
