Earlier in the year Belling sent us a book to review. Teddy Goes For A Swim was written to help children understand that sometimes their favourite soft toys need to be washed. It was a great way to teach Little E that it was OK for her pink seahorse to go in the washing machine sometimes. This time Belling has created a book with family cooking at its heart – Learn To Cook With Billy The Bear. This recipe book is a collaboration with family bloggers and children’s charity HENRY.

What I Love About Learn To Cook With Billy The Bear
I love that the recipes included in this book make good hearty meals. They each contain fruit or veg helping you eat one of your five a day. We have lots of fussy eaters and food issues in our home. I know that we could eat quite a few of these recipes without much fuss.
This book also contains lots of hints and tips. Including cooking with tots and getting ready hints for the children. There are also hints for the adults helping them in the kitchen.
There is also a page in the back of the book that helps you understand cooking terms. If you have never been in the kitchen these terms will help you read the recipes.
I can’t wait to introduce these meals to my family. I have a feeling the Sizzling Sausage Pie will be a hit on those cold winter nights. Ethan loves banana’s I can see the Banana Loaf being one of his favourites. Thanks to Billy The Bear we will be cooking our family meals together soon.
