Dear Barny,
Thank you for sending my Mummy some of your lovely bear-shaped sponge snacks for us to try. I had lots of fun trying both of the scrummy flavours – Chocolate and Milk. I think I like Chocolate the bestest.
Mummy likes them because they are individually wrapped, she can take them with her wherever we go. She also told Daddy they have no artificial colours or preservatives which she says is very good.
You set my Mummy a Little Adventures Challenge this is what we got up to…
Feeding The Duck’s
I like feeding the ducks so we paid them a visit.
On the way home we walked a different way, a new way that we had never tried before. We found more water with a mini waterfall, I loved this as I love to watch water moving.
We also found a new play area, which was nice and quiet and I got to play. Mummy said we will visit this place again as it isn’t as busy as the big park.
Our Country Park
I also like to visit our country park. I have showed my Mummy that I like to run up and down hill’s and our country park has lots of hill’s so Mummy and Daddy let me have fun.
We also went for a walk in the trees and I got to kick the leaves, my Grandma taught me how to do this!
LOOK what I found…
…a man stuck in the tree! Mummy wondered if it was Lord Voldemort.
I got to do some more playing at our country park.
Mummy said I needed to be refuelled so I even got to eat a Barny snack at our country park.
Bug Hunting
Mummy said we were very lucky as one day you sent us a big box. Inside the box was more Barny snacks for me to eat, a bug book and a bug hunting set.
Mummy said Daddy could take me bug hunting in our local nature reserve, a place that we hadn’t been before.
We didn’t find any bugs, Daddy said it was because Mummy scared them away by making lots of noise pushing the buggy. We did see a Muntjac Deer, it jumped right out in-front of us.
Did you see it Mummy?
Daddy saved the day as we did find a spider in our garden.
I hope you liked reading about our little adventures.

Mummy says
Thank you BritMums and Barny for getting us out and about in our local area. We visited places we hadn’t been to before and didn’t even know were there. We had lots of fun taking part in this challenge.
This post is an entry for BritMums ‘Little Adventures Challenge’ in partnership with Barny, the bear-shaped snack providing a little discovery in every bite. Find out more about Barny HERE.
I particularly like your bug hunting adventure! My wee man would say “silly mummy” scaring the bugs away! Such great adventures!
Thank you, yes I was a little disappointed that I scared the bugs away, but at the same time a little relieved. I’m not really good with anything that has more that four legs lol
What a fantastic adventure x #countykids
Thank you :0)
What lovely photos of Ethan on his adventures and laughing on the swing! It’s great that the adventures pack has inspired you to get out and find new places to have some fun. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
I really did enjoy doing this and was really surprised about our new discoveries. We have lived here for nearly two years and still have so many discoveries to make.
What a lovely set of photos! Love the bug hunt, glad he managed to find a spider to look at 🙂 #CountryKids
Wow lots of adventures. I don’t think there is anything better for a little one than time spent outside in the park, looking for bugs and feeding swans. Great post, just stopping by from Country Kids
