It’s lovely making the most of the beach this time of year. My kids much prefer beach pools to paddling in the actual sea. I prefer it too, much safer. I’m always a bit nervy as my older two got taken by a freak tide when they were young and I’ve never forgotten how scary it was. I couldn’t get to them but a lone swimmer spotted them and rescued them.
