Center Parcs Childcare Support For Children With Autism

When you visit Center Parcs you discover that there are a list of activities that you can take part in. On our first visit to Elveden Forest Center Parcs we noticed that they offered a childcare option. Being that it was our first holiday together as a four we felt guilty thinking about putting Little E in the nursery there. She hadn’t started nursery yet and I didn’t want to upset her. Ethan also hadn’t started school and we wasn’t sure if they could offer him the support he needed. At that time we wasn’t really comfortable with the whole respite idea. We wanted to enjoy our family break together…

Little E’s First Time On The Center Parcs Water Slides

You can’t go to Center Parcs without visiting the subtropical swimming paradise. I would like to say it’s Ethan’s favorite part of a stay there but I think he likes everything about Center Parcs. Little E is also a water baby, they really don’t get this from me, and loves our time at the swimming pools. During our visit to the Winter Wonderland weekend Little E decided that it was time to join her brother on the children’s water slides. I was worried that she wasn’t quite ready for this independence yet but as always she proved me wrong. Darren would walk Little E to the top of the slides…

    Little E’s First Pony Ride

When we visited Elveden Forest Center Parcs in May we discovered that they now offer Pony rides so we booked one for Ethan. Little E was eight weeks away from turning two which meant she wasn’t old enough to join him. To be honest at that time she was going through a phase of not wanting to try things unknown to her. So when we returned for the Winter Wonderland weekend I knew I wanted to book the pony rides again. I did have concerns about Little E’s reaction to this new adventure but I tried not to let it worry me too much. To tackle this new experience with…

Sending a Letter to Santa When Staying at Center Parcs

When booking our Winter Wonderland stay at Center Parcs I knew that we would be able to visit Santa. I never knew that we would be able to send a letter to Santa. When we arrived and was handed our information pack it contained two letters to send to Santa. It was a pre-written letter with spaces left blank for you to fill in. We had to fill in the children’s names, age, who they were at Center Parcs with and the lodge number we were staying in. We also had to fill in what the children wanted for Christmas and what they would leave out for Santa when he visits.…

Center Parcs Pony Rides Elveden Forest

In December we visited Center Parcs Elveden Forest for the Winter Wonderland weekend. When looking at the activities we could book I saw that they offered the Pony Rides again. Ethan had been on the pony ride when we visited in May but Little E wasn’t old enough as you have to be two years old. Little E is really interested in horses but we wasn’t sure if she would be happy to ride one. Thankfully Little E wants to do everything her brother does at the moment so getting on the pony really wasn’t a problem. Ethan loved that his sister was joining him on the pony ride. He…
