The Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary has come to an end but there are many new and exciting things coming to Disneyland Paris in 2024. In this post, I share the experiences you can look forward to. Many of these Disneyland Paris* events are on my Disney bucket list. One day I will purchase a Disneyland Paris annual pass* so that we can visit them all!

What’s The Best Month To Visit Disneyland Paris in 2024?
This is the main question that people ask and many blogs and travel sites do answer it. Listing the months and the possible weather conditions. They normally advise you to avoid school holidays and weekends. Visiting during term time when it is normally quieter. I would advise this too but when you have children in school, term-time holidays aren’t really a viable option.
As this post is about the events coming to Disneyland Paris* I won’t go into details about the best month for the lowest crowds, weather and cheapest prices. I would say go when you can, there can never be a right or wrong time to visit. It is cold in the winter, layers are a must. We put leggings under our jeans. It is hot in the summer, plan for lots of rest breaks and enjoy the slower pace. Use the price estimate calendar* to work out the cheapest day to check-in. We find that arriving on a Sunday or Monday can reduce the price of your visit.

Paris Olympic Games 2024
Another thing to consider in 2024 is that the Olympic Games will be held in Paris this year. This could possibly increase visitor numbers at Disneyland Paris. The Olympic Games are taking place from Friday the 26th of July until Sun the 11th of August 2024.
What’s Happening At Disneyland Paris in 2024?
If You Are Visiting Disneyland Paris In January 2024…
Disney’s Enchanted Christmas* takes place in the parks until the 7th of January 2024. The parks will still be decorated for Christmas, there will be a Christmas parade, a tree lighting ceremony and even a special firework show.
Disney Symphony of Colours
From January the 8th 2024 until the end of September 2024
Disney Symphony of Colours is a new nighttime show. Taking inspiration from Disney D-Light it will be an “electric parade in the sky”. It will feature drone sequences inspired by the iconic Main Street Electrical Parade. Illuminating the sky with brilliant colours, combining fountains, lights and projections. It will be in addition to Disney Dreams which is the main nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Paris.
The Reopening Of The Disneyland Hotel
From January the 25th 2024
After a three-year renovation, the Disneyland Hotel* will finally open its doors again in 2024. This hotel will have new experiences and restaurants to enjoy. Some will be exclusively for Disneyland Hotel guests. We were lucky enough to stay at this hotel during our Christmas trip to Disneyland Paris. I hope we get the chance to stay there again in the future.
If You Are Visiting Disneyland Paris In February 2024…
You will get the chance to experience a new show that will be performed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show will celebrate Disney and Pixar animation. Mickey Mouse and the gang will join many beloved Disney and Pixar Characters, including Timon and Joy. The show will also include Mirabel who is appearing in a Disneyland Paris show for the first time.
You will also experience Tinker Bell’s pixie dust. She will turn Main Street, U.S.A. into a flowery environment which will showcase the wonderful colors of nature.

Ahsoka in Star Tours
If like us you love the Star Wars ride in Disneyland Park you will be happy to hear there will be a new addition to the ride. From spring 2024 Ahsoka will become part of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
Musical Extravaganza in Walt Disney Studios Park
Prepare to step into the topsy-turvy and colourful world of Alice in Wonderland. This musical extravaganza will be an exclusive new stage show offering a twist to the beloved Disney Animation classic Alice in Wonderland.
Disneyland Paris Pride
Date To Be Confirmed
Disneyland Paris Pride celebrates diversity. A special ticketed event takes place in the Walt Disney Studios Park. There are live performances and the chance to see special characters.
Have Spooky Fun at Disneyland Paris Halloween Festival

Disneyland Paris celebrates Halloween* in October. The parks are decorated for Halloween during this time and there is even a special Halloween cavalcade. 2022 also saw the return of the Halloween parties on two nights. These are special ticketed events where the Disney Villains invade the Disneyland Park. In 2023 it was decided that the parties will not take place. Instead, an enhanced guest experience happened on October the 31st.
Celebrate Christmas at Disneyland Paris

There is nothing better than a Disney Christmas and you can celebrate at Disney’s Enchanted Christmas*. The parks are decorated for Christmas and there are Christmas parades, a tree lighting ceremony and even a special firework show.
See The New Year In at Disneyland Paris
December the 31st
The Disney New Year’s Eve Party returned in 2022. This is a special ticketed event. In 2023 it was decided that the party would not take place. Instead, an enhanced guest experience happened on December the 31st.
So when will you visit Disneyland Paris* in 2024? We would love to visit for Halloween but the Disney Symphony of Colours sounds like it would be amazing to watch. Christmas is always a great treat too. We are still working out our options but you never know we might do a last-minute Disney dash at some point this year.
