Little E has always wanted to be on the move. If feels like she has always been frustrated because she wanted to reach each mobility milestone before she could. I never imagined that I would have a 12 month old that could walk independently. I had seen babies learn how to use the walker when they were 12 months old and that was what I was thinking would happen.
Little E took her first steps on Tuesday the 30th of June. Suddenly she started to walk from sofa to sofa, and then into the middle of the room. I actually managed to capture her first steps but my camera corrupted the file.
She then didn’t walk again and I thought it was going to be a one-off.
The following week, the week before her first birthday, she took off again and there was no stopping her. She went from having to pull herself up to being able to stand up from the floor on her own overnight. She absolutely loves being on the move.
She used her Vtech walker for a week before those first steps!
Her days are now spent walking around the front room, and she has also started to pick up speed as she goes. We are yet to let her walk when we are out and about as I don’t think she is quite there yet, but it won’t be long!
How exciting, very well done to her! It’s lovely to see babies take their first steps 🙂 x
I really wasn’t expecting her to walk so soon, she really has grown up so fast!
Bless her, such a big milestone!
It is and one that makes them so grown up!
Ooh she’s on the move! watch out Big Brother 😀
Exactly! ;0) x
There’s no stopping her now! Well done little E.
Where on earth has that 12 months gone?
Hope E is getting used to her moving about more quickly.
Thanks for linking up with #SSamazingachievements x
Tell me about it! Ethan hasn’t been bothered at all about the change, I think he quite enjoys her being on the move x
