Increasing Our Living Space With A Conservatory

When we purchased our house it was the last one available to buy on the estate. At the time we just needed a place to call home, we never really thought about it being our ‘forever home’ purchase. Fast forward six years and life has thrown us some curveballs. Our jobs have changed to accommodate our life journey and house prices have also increased. This means our impulse purchase has turned into our forever home. We are also very happy here and a move isn’t a priority for us. Space, on the other hand, is a concern. We often talk about increasing our living space with a conservatory. It turns out that a conservatory is now one of our life goals, you know you have really entered adulthood when that happens!

SEH BAC a leading supplier of windows, doors, and conservatories opened their conservatory showroom in Colchester on Saturday. I was invited to attended to see what they had to offer someone looking at increasing their living space.

The showroom is actually an SEH BAC Centre of Excellence and has lots of their products on display. This includes different examples of conservatories, orangeries and single–storey extensions. Each example has a staircase at the side so you can see how the roofs are also created, up close.

I really enjoyed attending the showrooms grand opening. Dominic Littlewood was invited to officially open the Centre of Excellence by cutting the ribbon on Saturday. If you follow me on Instagram you will see that I asked for a cheeky selfie too. We were spoilt with sweet and savory treats and we were able to talk to the showroom experts. SEH BAC are also celebrating their 45th year of trading and the years of experience really shine through.
