We had a great Dinosaur filled day during our recent visit to Roarr Dinosaur Adventure in Norfolk. What is amazing is that the admission price includes all of the dinosaur attractions available. Making this day out easy to budget for as your children can enjoy everything available at no extra cost. In this post, I share 7 dinosaur attractions that are available to enjoy at Roarr Dinosaur Adventure. This list doesn’t include the dinosaur walks, soft play areas, Secret Animal Garden, and playgrounds that are also available to explore.
Dippy’s Raceway
Dippy’s Raceway is a mini race circuit with motorised cars. Children over 100cm can race unaccompanied. Smaller children must be accompanied by an adult. There is an extra seat to make double driving possible.
The cars use a token to activate and start at the push of a pedal.
Our children love driving around in these cars. Little E can get very competitive with activities like this!
Dippy Live
This year Dippy the dinosaur has been performing live on the outdoor stage. We didn’t get the chance to see a show as we were busy elsewhere in the park but we did get a photo with Dippy.
Dippy’s Splash Zone
Roarr Dinosaur Adventure is home to East Anglia’s biggest outdoor waterpark, Dippy’s Splash Zone. There is so much water fun with slides, fountains, cannon shoots, and a giant bucket!
Due to our time constraints, the children didn’t get the chance to have fun in the splash zone. I highly recommend making sure you bring swimwear and towels so your children can have fun in this amazing water area.
As part of the Covid-19 precautions, you must book a time slot to enter Dippy’s Splash Zone. These are bookable on the day of your visit at the splash zone entrance. Roarr Dinosaur Adventure can’t guarantee admission as allocation of the time slots is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Jurassic Putt Crazy Golf
We really wanted to play crazy golf to see what Ethan thought of the game. We just didn’t get the time. This is an eight-hole dinosaur-themed crazy golf course. It is said to be a great test of skill for every level of golfer and putter.
X-tinction Fossil Dig
The sandpits at X-tinction are perfect to look for fossils. Little E spent lots of time here looking for dinosaur bones. Looking forward to discovering what she could find in the sand.
Predator! High Ropes
Roarr Dinosaur Adventure is also home to East Anglia’s largest rope course, Predator! High Ropes. It also contains the world’s first parallel sky rails.
Predator! High Ropes are suitable for adults and children of a minimum height of 1 meter and a maximum height of 2 meters. Children under 1.2 meters must go on with an adult.
Ethan was very interested to go on the zip wire until we started our Predator! High Ropes journey. He left me at the start to face this one of the dinosaur attractions on my own. It was the first time I have ever been on high ropes. I was very scared and very proud of myself for completing the course.
As part of the Covid-19 precautions, you must book a time slot to experience the Predator! High Ropes. These are bookable on the day of your visit at the Predator! High Ropes entrance. Roarr Dinosaur Adventure can’t guarantee admission as allocation of the time slots is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Raptor Racers
Raptor Racers are pedal-powered karts. You can race around the Raptor themed circuit on pedal karts of all shapes and sizes. The children loved racing around this circuit. At first, Darren took Ethan on a double kart but he was soon racing around on his own just like his sister.
We had s great day visiting Roarr Dinosaur Adventure if you are planning to visit Norfolk you must add a visit to your plans.
