Our life has changed quite a lot over the past few

Our life has changed quite a lot over the past few years and I don't post on here as much as I would like but today is World Autism Awareness Day. A day that I feel I can't miss. Our son is 13 so we have a teenager living with autism. Our teenager is different, not less. He loves watching weather reports over and over again. He loves listening to days of the week songs on YouTube and even the months of the year versions too. He will still happily watch CBeebies and In The Night Garden. This year he won't start studying for his GCSE's and I have no idea what will happen when we have to leave school. I worry all the time what will happen to him when it's my time to leave this world. That's why it's good to make people aware of autism but they also need to be accepting of autism. Loving someone with autism can be hard but it can also be very rewarding. We must always remember to join in with all the happy and flappy moments.
