We were very lucky this past week and were invited to join my parents on their holiday in Devon. Unfortunately Ethan wasn’t very well and this wasn’t helped by the heat wave that we are having at the moment. We decided that it was best to explore Devon in the mornings when it was slightly cooler and explore the surrounding areas in the evening.
We explored Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe, The Donkey Sanctuary, Escot in Ottery St Mary and Bicton Park Botanical Gardens.
Here are our photo highlights…
This photo captures the funniest moment of our holiday, Darren run in-front of our car trying to move the poor lost sheep into safety. I haven’t laughed so hard in ages, all that was missing was the Benny Hill music!
love the giggle on the swing, I bet that metal slide was rather hot on bare legs. Lol at hubby chasing the sheep.
Have to say he does not look too happy sat on the stony beach, but looks like you had a great holiday.
I do agree it is far to warm to be put doing things
Looks like so much fun. Your little man is so cute and I love his smiley face on the swing. We’ve not been to Devon as a family but really want to one day. Cream teas…yum!

I love Devon, such a gorgeous place. Hope Ethan is feeling a bit better – you have some lovely photos there x
Hope little man is feeling better! Looks like he enjoyed the animals and I see a future tractor driver there 🙂 Chasing sheep and you did not get a video!!!!
Looks like a lovely holiday! We’re blessed with having my husband’s family in Devon, so we always go there for holidays. it’s a lovely place (they are further south than where you were I think). I thought Coombe Mill was in Cornwall though?!
I do hope Ethan is feeling much better now, I love the happy pictures of him on the swing and slide. How lovely to share the holiday with your parents and have such fab weather for your week in Devon. We’d love to have you visit us at Coombe in Cornwall in the future, thanks for sharing with Country Kids.
