Little E has reviewed quite a few Num Noms toys over the past few months. During the Easter holidays, they sent her an Easter gift. It contained Num Noms from the Party Hair and Sparkle Smoothies series. It also contained everything she needed to make Easter Egg Bark. This is the first time I have really made anything with Little E food wise. This is how we got on…
What You Need To Make Easter Egg Bark
Making Easter Egg Bark is very simple. You will need the following ingredients to create it:
- 3 x 150g milk chocolate bars, broken into chunks
- 50g of white chocolate, broken into chunks
- 1 x 90g bag of mini eggs
- Butter for greasing
- A cocktail stick or skewer
How To Make Easter Egg Bark
1. Melt The Milk Chocolate Bars
Place the milk chocolate pieces into a heatproof bowl. Bring a pan of water to the boil and set the bowl on top, making sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl. Stirring occasionally, leave the chocolate to melt.
2. Spread Out The Melted Chocolate
Grease a tin about 260cm x 260cm and line with nonstick baking paper or cling film. When the milk chocolate has completely melted pour it into the prepared tin and spread out to the edges.
Don’t worry if you don’t have
3. Melt The White Chocolate
Melt the white chocolate in the same way the milk chocolate was melted. Once melted drizzle over the milk chocolate. Use a cocktail stick or skewer to swirl the milk and white chocolate together.
4. Add The Mini Eggs
Crush half of the mini eggs in the bag. This can be done using a rolling pin. Then sprinkle the whole and crushed eggs over the swirled chocolate. Leave in a cool place to set.
Little E really enjoyed making the Easter Egg Bark but not as much as she like eating it!
