In the Tale of One-Eared Bob, the Squirrel’s challenge is to save the ducks of the old mill pond from the villainous, would-be pirate One Eared-Bob. He is a lawless rabbit and has an equally unpleasant rabbit gang.
What We Love About Squirrel Squad and the Tale of One-Eared Bob?
This is a funny story of One-Eared Bob and how Captain Beech Leaper shows him the error of his ways. One-Eared Bob quickly discovers that it isn’t nice to pick on the ducks. When he gets into trouble himself he has to remember the magic word to get the help he demands.
With it being a rhyming story the children’s attention is easily held. There are also some funny moments included in the verses.
There are also beautiful illustrations of charming story animals. It is very funny to see them dressed in their uniforms and eye patches.
