Little E was sent some items to review to help her with her weaning journey. She received the OXO tot small and large bowl set and the feeding spoon set.
The spoon is made of silicone which means it has a soft edge perfect for our little lady. It also has a contoured handle angled for ease when feeding.
The bowls have straight high walls to help guide food onto utensils. A weighted, non-slip base to help with stability. The lids snap on for portability and storage. They are dishwasher and microwave safe.
Both products are available in Green, Aqua and Pink.
Our Verdict
We have been using the feeding spoon and bowl set for two weeks now and have had no problems. Having two bowls in the set is perfect for us as I have been able to defrost both of Little E’s lunch and dinner items at the start of the day. This helps in a busy house when things can get quite hectic.
We have taken the bowls with us when we have been out and about at meal times. The lids snap tightly shut and we haven’t had any spillages.
I love the silicone spoons as I know that I can’t hurt Little E’s gums and lips if she doesn’t want to try new tastes. We think she is starting to teethe so this is very important.
The spoons hold the food very well and Little E is getting the perfect size mouthfuls for this first stage weaning.
I have found the spoons very comfortable to hold and I think they are shaped perfectly for small hands too.
I’m confident that we will be able to use this set all through Little E’s weaning journey and I’m sure she will put the weighted bowls to the test.
