I haven’t been able to write about my word of the week for a few weeks now as I have been so busy. So this word of the week sums up the past few weeks in our house as we have been
I have been working on a project which has taken up all of my time, so at times it has felt quite manic as this has been juggled around our everyday routine. Darren has been a star and helped with the day-to-day running of the house which has given me the time to get my job done.
This week things have been getting calmer and I’m slowly able to sort out all of the things that I have had to ignore. We have actually started to think about Christmas gifts for the children and I’m starting to think about the toys that can now be passed on to others to make room for the new gifts from Santa.
I was also able to take Little E to her swimming lesson this week which we have had to miss for the past few weeks due to my work commitments. She really enjoyed it but she is getting so tall for me now she was all arms and legs in the water. She just needs to get her confidence to swim and she will be off.
This evening we are attending a children’s fundraising disco which I know Ethan will enjoy. He was showing me his dance moves last night when I mentioned it so I’m looking forward to see what he makes of it.
It has been nice to slowly get back to normality this week but as always my to do list is ever-expanding.
I’ve just come through a few weeks like that I barely had time to stop and catch my breath, it’s so nice to slow down and get back to some kind of normality isn’t it. I hope you all enjoy the disco. #WotW
It does sound like you have been busy, I’m glad things are calming down. It’s good news that Little E is taking to the water well, I’m sure she’ll be swimming soon x
I quite like a busy week but then you have to stop to catch you breath or just sleep!!! I am starting to think about Christmas presents too for my daughter. I think my newborn won’t get a lot! Have a good weekend xx #wotw
It is good when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and things start getting back to normal.
I hope you have a great time at the fundraising Disco – I know the time we took Mademoiselle to a disco she just loved dancing with us. She literally danced herself to sleep!
Have a fun evening
xx
