Dear Little E,
You are 12 weeks old today, I can’t believe we have been a family of four for three months already! I would love to say time does fly when you are having fun but you are one very demanding little lady!
You still feed little and often, the guidelines say you should have been on six ounces at eight weeks old, we think you are only just now able to take five.
You have no routine, something we are not used to. We used to be able to set our watches by your brother but you will have your milk if and when you feel like it!
You still have your evening crying time but, fingers crossed, it is getting a tiny bit easier. We have worked out you are happy if you are sitting up on our laps. You want to know what’s going on in the world around you. Your crying is starting to get on your brothers nerves and he has resorted to sitting in the hall when it has got too much for him, but he still checks that you are OK and gives you lots of his ‘cuddles’.
You have always had a strong back and neck, you have also liked sleeping on your side for a while now. You are nearly rolling over but not quite made it yet, apart from the other night I asked Daddy why he had put you your front in the moses basket. He hadn’t so you must have turned over then, we just haven’t seen it yet!
This month you have learnt how to use your hands, all of a sudden you were batting your toys. You also suck on your hands when you are hungry and to go to sleep.
You watch your brother quite a lot and on the days when he is at nursery you are sometimes unsettled. I’m looking forward to seeing how your interaction develops in the coming months.
She is beautiful x
Thank you x
She is so gorgeous. Even though it is busy, I am sure that you are loving every minute.
Time is just flying, I think when she stop having her crying moments we will enjoy it more ;0)
Beautiful photos – especially the photo of Little E and Ethan in the chair together – just adorable 🙂
Thank you, I do love that photo it makes me laugh!
Beautiful baby – beautiful post 🙂
Thank you x
Aww! What a cutie! Happy 12-week birthday, little one. My daughter has never been much of one for a set schedule either, no matter how much I’d like to have one – she also never ate as much as the guidelines said, but she ate more often. I love that last photo. 🙂 #weekendbloghop
It must be a girl thing, we do like to do things in our own special way ;0)
