Day 137
Today we celebrated Ethan’s 5th Birthday with a bowling party. I was so nervous about arranging something like this for Ethan as I didn’t know how he would react but he enjoyed himself. He was a little quiet but that’s better than tears or a meltdown. This birthday was celebrated with our friends, perhaps next year I will be braver and invite his school friends.
Day 138
We are trying to expand Little E’s finger foods, this week it has been mostly about toast but she is enjoying it.
Day 139
We picked up the latest Something Special magazine for Ethan.
Day 140
Ethan joined Little E in her cot this morning to play with her toys.
Day 141
We moved onto pizza bread, toast with tomato puree and melted cheese. I think she liked it!
Day 142
Ethan’s school had an insert day so we visited the Zoo in the morning. We haven’t been for such a long time now.
Day 143
Little E has pulled herself up into standing for her grandparents twice this week, and both times we have missed it. Well today there is no stopping her, the cot has been lowered, let the fun begin!

Glad the bowling party went well. I tend to find that one game is enough for kids and they get a bit bored part way through the second. Nice to have friends and family together though.
