A photo a day, every day, for a year!
Day 53
I forgot to take a photo today! I don’t know what happened to the day, it passed in a blur of washing and making Little E some of her weaning foods. Thankfully Darren saved the day as he sent me a photo of the sunrise he saw whilst at work.
Day 54
We visited Bluewater in Kent today so that I could catch up with a friend. Whilst there we spotted these balloons with legs. They had a lead attached so that you can pull them along. We got Ethan a dinosaur one as a treat when he got home from nursery.
Day 55
I nearly forgot to take another photo today. I remembered just as I was about to take our meter readings, so I took the camera outside with me and took a photo of the setting sun.
Day 56
I have been sent a book to review – How to Fly with Broken Wings. It’s a children’s book whose main character is on the autistic spectrum. I haven’t read a book for a while, I’m looking forward to reading this.
Day 57
We wanted to go to the park today to get Ethan out of the house but it was raining for most of the day. Ethan had seen tenpin bowling on Mr Tumble and he was quite excited by it so we decided to take him.
Day 58
We spent some time in the Park today to capture our Me and Mine photos. The play park wasn’t as busy as normal and Darren got to take Ethan on the zip-wire.
Day 59
This week we have had to fill in a DLA form to update them on Ethan’s progress. Today was spent photocopying all of the reports I have about Ethan to send to them. It has taken all day, I never knew a child could come with so much paperwork!
Ten pin bowling is great fun with the kiddos – I hope Ethan enjoyed it. My boy always has the knack and has won both times we’ve taken them. Sunsets are always a good shot – particularly when you suddenly realise no photo has been taken that day – I struggle on work days!
My head has really been in a different place at points this week with the photo taking. Ethan did enjoy the bowling, we are thinking about it for his birthday x
You’ve just reminded me I need to read our meter. There must be something about bowling, I thought Monkey would hate it, but he loves it too. Love the dinosaur balloon. Have a lovely holiday next week x
Thank you. We have to read our meters every month, I get an email reminder thankfully. Ethan loves the cause and effect of it. I feel we may have found a new pass time!
Looks like you’ve had a good week. Glad Ethan enjoyed bowling and love his balloon 🙂 My niece had a dog one like that, but she managed to burst it!
He loves balloons, it did burst today but it had a good run for the money!
I love the photo of Ethan bowling. He looks so happy. My two love tenpin bowling also! Awe, Bluewater is one of my favourite places. We’ll have to go together one day Jane! x
He did love it, I’m glad we tired it. You can get a coach to Bluewater from here, I could leave Darren at home ;0) x
My kids also love the walking balloons, lovely sunsets. Hope all with the DLA goes ok x
Thank you, I hate the form I hope I have filled in all the info they need x
I have always wanted to visit Bluewater – its a real trek for us though! I haven’t taken my kids bowling for ages – really must do it soon
It was a good hour and a half for us now that we live in the sticks, but so worth the catch up x
I do like the look of your balloon animal – not seen any like that before. We like going bowling, but find that two games is too much – one is enough.
We just did the one game as we didn’t know what Ethan would think. It was more than enough for him x
How awesome is that dinosaur balloon, I will have to go on the hunt for this now, as my little man would love it.
Lovely sunset capture, love these kind of snaps.
And glad Ethan enjoyed his bowling treat 🙂
We have never seen balloons like that before. It lasted well until the cat got hold of it yesterday :0(
What a lovely photo of your two men on a zip wire! And a very cute dino balloon. I just posted our DLA forms last week for my older son. I hate these forms, they are the size of War and Peace, and take so much time to fill in,
Terrible forms, hopefully we won’t have to do them for a while again x
awww the photo of Darren and Ethan on the zipwire is amazing .. and that balloon is fab, we had a ladybird one last year and Joshua LOVED it to x
Ethan does love a balloon and somehow we have got into dinosaurs so it was a hit x
Love that dinosaur balloon. Never seen one like that before
Neither had we that’s why we had to get one ;0) x
Paperwork. Hate it! Must be a relief to get it all sorted though. I had to give up on Project 365 this year because I kept forgetting to take photos! These too aren’t bad though. Love a sunset 🙂
It was great to get the paperwork out of the way, I hate going through all of Ethan’s stuff. Sunset photos always save the day ;0) x
Lovely photos! I love the dinosaur balloon! How cool!
I hope you got that awful form finished x
We all loved the dinosaur balloon lol. The form was completed and sent on Monday it is in their hands now! x
Those balloons are brilliant! Love the photo of Ethan and his Daddy, they look like they are both having so much fun!
There were, Darren is a big kid at heart lol x
Ten pin bowling is a great pastime when its raining outside, good old Mr Tumble.
Parks can be good fun when they are emptier in the winter months.
Thats one amazing setting sun picture.
I sympathise with the paperwork, daughter is the same for Bob with letters from this one, that one and the next one.
Ethan prefers the park when there are less children around. When he starts school I think we will have to visit first thing in the morning. The paperwork is done this time around until the next for arrives!
The book looks interesting, going to have to look out for your review. Loving the sunsets
Thank you, I haven’t finished the book yet, it’s my job for this week x
We had a dog balloon like the dinosaur one, it lasted for ages! Glad Ethan liked bowling, my guys love it too x
The balloon didn’t last that long in the end but Ethan got his money worth out of it. Bowling might be our new past time x
