Today was Ethan’s final observation. We stayed in the nursery room with him this time as the speech therapist came to see him again. She watched him as they tired to make Ethan take turns at shape sorting to see how he reacted when he was made to wait his turn. She talked to us about the techniques
Yesterday was Ethan’s third appointment and this one I found very hard as we saw the pediatrician which meant we had to go over all of our concerns with her and she asked about how he acts etc. I just feel like I’m basically picking my son to pieces and I go through such a conflict

On Wednesday morning we took Ethan for his first child assessment observation. This consisted of Ethan just playing in a nursery environment whilst being watched by the nursery staff and on this occasion the speech therapist was also there.
