    Lapland UK Superstar Day 2015

family photo visiting father christmas lapland uk superstar day

Last year we visited Lapland UK. We did say we wouldn’t return until Little E was old enough to understand and enjoy the Christmas magic. So you can image Darren’s surprise when I was bugging him to take us again this year. I had looked into Breakfast with Santa at Colchester Zoo again. The price increase at the zoo meant there wasn’t that much difference in going there or Lapland UK. The bonus with Lapland UK is that Ethan would get the chance to ice skate again. We are allowed on the ice wearing our snow boots which means we can support him. So on the 1st of December Ralph…

Meeting Father Christmas at Lapland UK

meeting father christmas at lapland uk

This week we decided to visit Lapland UK again on their Superstar Day. We visited last year and wanted to give Ethan the chance to ice skate again. I have lots of video and photos to sort through. I wanted to share our experience of metting Father Christmas at Lapland UK for our Small Steps Amazing Achievement this week. Little E – 6 Months Old

Dear Little E, Today you are six months old. Half a year old, time is flying too quickly! It has been a very busy month. We visited Lapland UK and you did amazingly well, being out all day. You did miss having your photo taken with Father Christmas as you fell asleep but we took you to Colchester Zoo to visit him so you didn’t miss out. You also went swimming for the first time and was so relaxed that you fell asleep in the swimming pool! You experienced your first Christmas and hopefully next year Ethan will let you open your own presents. You were a very lucky girl…

  • Me & Mine

    Me & Mine December 2014

This month we have made two attempts to take our me and mine photos. This first was on Christmas eve taken by my mum, Darren looked very moody and Ethan wouldn’t look at the camera. The second attempt was taken yesterday by Grandma during our Christmas visit. Here are the results. I have realised that all of our photos taken so far have been sitting down shots. I would love to be more creative but I’m sure that will be able to happen when Little E is more mobile. The fact that we are able to keep Ethan still long enough for a photo is an achievement in itself! This…
