As normal we were up bright and early and were soon on the bus to EPCOT for our breakfast ADR. As soon as we had cleared the security check we were aloud to enter the park, there were lots of people making their way to breakfast but EPCOT was lovely and empty.
I’m sorry to say we didn’t take advantage of the park being this empty and take a few photos along the way but I was concerned about how long it would take for us to walk to the Norway pavilion and I didn’t want us to be late but it really wouldn’t have mattered as there was a bit of a queue for this restaurant so we wouldn’t have missed our time.
After checking in we were asked to wait outside until Belle was ready for us. The plan was for the boys to go and see Belle whilst I took the photos as I’m the one who is better with the camera and Ethan had more confidence with the characters with Darren at his side, we didn’t want a repeat performance of our Cinderella meeting.
Well I wasn’t expecting what happened next, I had been handing over our photopass plus card and explaining that Ethan really wouldn’t pose for a photo to the photographer when I looked up to see Ethan sitting on Belle’s lap and I lost all control! I got all emotional and completely forgot how to use the camera so ended up with the following photo.
I really wasn’t expecting to be tearful over a princess meet and great I was expecting to be in floods of tears when Ethan met Mickey Mouse for the first time but I think it was the fact that Ethan was sitting on Belle’s lap without protest, she had even removed his dummy for the photo. Ethan’s time with Belle was quickly over and I still hadn’t remembered how to use the camera but they kindly said if I wasn’t happy with the photopass photo we could come back after our breakfast, thankfully the photographer did a much better job than me.
This is easily one of my favourite photopass photos of our trip and one that I want to get framed.
This breakfast is a buffet style but they bring the cooked items to your table and then you can help yourself to any continental items. Ethan wasn’t really in the mood for food today so as you can see from the plate next to him we offered him lots of different options, all of which he declined but we had been making sure Ethan had a yoghurt and milk each morning before we left the room.
Joining us for breakfast that morning was Princess Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White and Arial they all came to our table to say hello to Ethan and sign his autograph book.
I wasn’t sure if we had made the right choice booking this ADR as we had already had the Princess breakfast at the Magic Kingdom but we really enjoyed it here. The food was fantastic, there was so much choice and it felt so much more relaxed than it did at the castle.
If I was to choose between the two I would book this ADR again, it is an experience to say you have eaten in the castle if you have never tried it but you do pay for the privilege as breakfast here was only one dining plan credit per person rather than the two for breakfast in the castle.
Our bill came to a total of $14 plus two table service credits, Ethan ate for free. This price also included the photo package.
I’m linking this post with Magic Moments as it was truly magical for me!
