This week our word of the week is
this is because it’s Ethan’s birthday on Sunday and I have been busy on eBay ordering him balloons. We like to use balloons as a visual to show him that it is a different day. We also get a helium number balloon so that we can talk about his age.
We have been talking about it being his birthday this year but I have a feeling that he thinks this might involve a soft play party. I’m sad to say that this year we decided to keep Ethan’s birthday a quiet affair because of the struggles he had with soft play. We will have to make it up to him next year.
Thankfully we haven’t had to wait in for any of these deliveries as most of them have been able to fit through our letter box. The bigger deliveries have actually arrived later in the evening when we have been in so it has all gone quite smoothly. We are still waiting on a few packages and hopefully they will arrive today in time for the birthday boy on Sunday.
