Visiting Father Christmas at Colchester Zoo

Last weekend, as Little E never got to see Father Christmas at Lapland UK due to being asleep, we decided to visit Father Christmas at Colchester Zoo.

We knew it would be busy so we got there as soon as the zoo opened. I joined the queue to see Father Christmas with Little E, whilst Darren took Ethan to the playground to keep him busy.

Thankfully the queue moved quite quickly and it wasn’t long before we were in the grotto.

Ethan wasn’t sure of the grotto at first but he soon enjoyed looking at all of the lights.

It wasn’t long before it was time to say hello to Father Christmas.

I’m pleased to say Little E stayed awake the whole time and we took her very first photo with Father Christmas.
I’m linking this post to Country Kids over at Coombe Mill.

It looks like Colchester really put a lot of effort into their Santa’s Grotto. It’s great that Little E stayed awake to meet Santa this time, what a great photo of their first meeting it is! It’s great that even though Ethan was nervous at first he warmed to the place and seemed to enjoy himself! Thanks for linking up with Country Kids.
