Since Little E’s first steps and official walking she made it clear that she wanted to get out of the buggy. She just wasn’t really steady enough on her feet so we brought her some reigns ready for the off.
We tried to let her walk whilst on our little holiday at Great Yarmouth but soon discovered she had already grown out of her shoes and wasn’t comfortable. So armed with new shoes we took her for her first official walk last week. Darren captured it on video and I love it so I thought I would share our milestone.
Aww beautiful memories captured. Love it. Shoes make such a difference. There will be no stopping her now!
They really have, I think she finds the new ones a lot more comfortable x
Yay! Congratulations Little E! Piglet is at the same stage. He’s 13 months too. He loves an outside walk and looks so proud of himself when he does it. How are you finding the reins?
She kind of dives when she is on the reins at points, this means she ends up swinging on them! This walk did go a little bit better, I think the change of shoes really helped x
Aw, that video is lovely. My son’s been walking for a while, and I’m just starting to get him out of the pram and walking alongside any chance I get. It’s not that often as my daughter is usually with us, but I’ll be able to do it more once he goes to school. It’s so great getting them walking as much as possible. #SSAAchievements
Yes I think I will get her out more when Ethan is back at school. It will be easier then x
Aww lovely, she’s obviously very confident in her shoes. I hope the weather stays nice for a while so that she can have a few more walks.
Don’t expect to get anywhere fast though!!
