We have been lucky enough to review some of Stuart Simmonds’ previous books. Books from Hannah the Spanner and the Harry the Karate Monkey series. We still enjoy reading these books, which include Hannah the Spanner and the Circus, Hannah the Spanner and the Trip to the Moon, Hannah the Spanner and the Dancing Bear, and Harry The Karate Monkey. Stuart Simmonds has been working on a new series of rhyming tales, the Sevenhills Stories. At the moment there are three books in the Sevenhills Stories series What’s the plan, Stan?, Don’t Touch that Razor Fraser and Parker and Rudi’s Most Amazing Adventure. We were sent a copy of Don’t Touch that Razor Fraser to review. We can also offer our readers the chance to win their very own copy.

Don’t Touch that Razor Fraser

This book is a fantastic way to teach children that you should always listen to your parents. Unfortunately, Fraser will learn this lesson the hard way.

When a mysterious package arrives Fraser doesn’t listen to his parents. He can’t help but open the package to discover what is inside.

By the time Fraser works out the package contains a razor, it’s too late. This book sees him embark on a hilarious hair-cutting, clothe trimming ride.

What Do We Love About Don’t Touch that Razor Fraser?

Once again Stuart Simmonds doesn’t disappoint. This book is full of humorous moments that both the children and I laughed at. As always the illustrations perfectly complement the story bringing them to life.

We love how the story rhymes all the way through. It makes it easy to read and also very enjoyable. We love that the Sevenhills Stories are expanding the world of the Stuart Simmonds books. We can’t wait to read more titles in the series.
