Dear Little E,
Today you are 16 months old and it has been a very busy month for us all. You experienced Halloween and Bonfire night fireworks and I’m quickly discovering that this part of the year is turning out to be my favorite time.
For Halloween you had your choice of two outfits, a Peepa Pig outfit and little ghost costume.
We carved pumpkins for Halloween, well Daddy did, and also visited Legoland Windsor to see their Halloween celebrations.
You loved being able to walk around Legoland with us and you even had new shoes for the occasion as your feet have gone up another size.
You also enjoyed watching the fireworks but had you had been fighting sleep all day you promptly fell asleep as soon as they were over.
You are showing an interest in letters and like your brother have started to point them out. I’m not sure if this is his influence or we just have children with a passion for letters!
Just this past week you have discovered that you can climb up onto the sofa. This has opened up a whole new world for you and you are loving every minute.
You do say ‘Hi’ and ‘Bye’ and say it in context. You started to say ‘Baby’ this week and we are trying to teach you its context. We even heard a ‘Daddy’ the other day.
You are still humming ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ and will give us your hand when you want us to sing ‘Round and Round the Garden’. I think we even had actions to ‘Wind the Bobbin’ this week, I’m not sure if that was what you were trying to do but that’s what I went with.
I let you loose with a spoon yesterday with your yogurt and you did really well, this is something I will make sure we continue.
You have started to hide from us when we call you and you think it’s a great game, it’s so lovely to hear you giggle.
Oh wow – she’s growing up so fast. It only seems like yesterday when she was a little baby xxx
Peppa Pig outfit is so cute! Sounds like she’s doing brilliantly! Very impressed she is interested in letters. My little one likes to try to join in round the garden too. #SSAmazingAchievements
She is such a cute little monkey in her Peppa Pig costume and growing up so fast!
Lovely to read how her speech is developing and her cheeky nature, bet her giggles give away where she is straightaway!
Thanks for linking up with #SSAmazingAchievements 🙂
