Our Fifth Wedding Anniversary

Darren, 

Can you believe that five years ago today we were married. You put your full trust in my dream and I was a Disney Bride, a true princess for a day. A day that I had dreamed of since I was sixteen years old. You even agreed to having Minnie and Mickey as guests, embracing everything Disney. 

Five years is a big milestone. I know that people worried about how fast we decided to get engaged as we only really knew each other for three months when we decided that we wanted to become Husband and Wife, but I feel like I have always known you and I’m shocked that it has only been five years. 

We have definitely been tested on our journey and it feels like we have gone through more in five years than some couples go through in a lifetime, but we still find time to smile even if they are sometimes accompanied by tears.   

The reason we wanted to get married was so that we could have a family and we are now three. We may be a very different three but we are a very happy three. 

You are an amazing Dad to our son and I love watching you engaging with Ethan. Watching you run around the soft play area showing Ethan how to play is fantastic and I’m so proud of you.

It really has been an eventful five years, lets see what the next five have in store for us.
